Here's some other pictures from the Scholastic Art and Writing exhibition. Very talented young artists!

All these ceramic pieces are part of a portfolio - really cool!

My mom's favorite drawing (besides Amanda's, of course)

"Missing Spot"

The holes in the tile are actually holes, with the objects in them.

This is the work of a thirteen year old artist. Quite Impressive.

There is Amanda in the gallery.

This dress is made of toilet paper!

This played all the winning videos.

Hanging excerpts from written pieces.

Pictures!

So here are some pictures from the Scholastic Art and Writing Awards!

Amanda outside Carnegie Hall!

Amanda waiting in the rain to go into rehearsal...Mr. Barry is wearing his invisibility cloak.

Me and my dad in our awesome seats inside the theater!

A view of the theater. We were seated in the second level balcony.

Amanda is onstage taking her bow! She is the one on the far left.

700 award winning students taking a bow from their seats.

All the teachers standing for applause. Yay Barry's! Wish you were there!

The Empire State Building lit in gold in honor of the winners. Rainy and foggy night, but the effect is still there.

Finally found the World Financial Center and the art gallery!

Congrats to Amanda and her awesome teacher, Mr. Barry!

The best work there!

Amanda with her medal and her portrait.

Close up on the medal!

Posing in front of Amanda's wall!

So proud :)
